Description

OCTG Tubing pipe is a slender steel pipe used to transport oil and gas from the bottom of the well to the ground in oil and gas wells. It is the core component of the production pipe string.

Structure and materials of oil pipe

Structure of oil pipe: mainly seamless steel pipe, the outer diameter is generally 2 3/8″~4 1/2″, and the wall thickness is thin (5~10mm).

Material of oil pipe:
API standard steel grade: J55, N80, L80, P110.

High-end materials: corrosion-resistant 13Cr, super 13Cr, duplex stainless steel (for high sulfur or sour gas wells).
